Department of Public Works

The Department of Public Works (DPW) maintains the roads, parks, water and sewer systems, as well as garbage pick up and recycling for the Village of Montgomery, among other things.  To ensure the upkeep and safety of our community please contact the DPW at 845-457-5321 if you come across potholes, fallen trees obstructing roads, damaged sidewalks or malfunctioning streetlights within the Village limits.  Please remember to note precise location details when reporting an issue in order to expedite the response.  Your vigilance and cooperation contribute significantly to maintaining the integrity and functionality of our Village infrastructure.

For matters concerning Rt 17k or Rt 211/Union Street, please contact the Department of Transportation (DOT) at 845-343-4638 as those are New York State roads outside of Village DPW jurisdiction.
