RE: RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE VILLAGE’S ZONING LAW TO PERMIT OUTSIDE DINING FACILITIES FOR EXISTING RESTAURANTS AND FURTHER TEMPORARILY PERMITTING THE USE OF VILLAGE SIDEWALKS BY EXISTING RESTAURANTS SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS RELATIVE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
Please be advised the BOARD OF TRUSTEES will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at 4:00 PM at the Village Municipal Parking Lot - 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549. This notice is sent to you pursuant to Section 95 of the Public Officers Law. Such meeting is open to the public.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery did adopt Local Law No. 2 of 2020 on the 2nd day of June, 2020 at the Village Courtroom, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
SAID LOCAL LAW establishes a six-month moratorium on the submission and processing of applications for certain land use approvals within the Village of Montgomery.
Copies of Local Law No. 2 of 2020 are available at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular business hours and on the Village’s web site.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery will hold its next meeting on June 2, 2020, at 7:30 P.M. at the Village Senior Center, 36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the corresponding restrictions, all attendees will be required to socially distance from each other and must wears masks.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Courtroom, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549 to consider the adoption of Introductory Local Law No. I – 2 of 2020. Said local law establishes a six month moratorium on the submission and processing of applications for certain land use approvals within the Village of Montgomery.
A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection on the Village’s web site.
Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the extension of Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order to June 6, 2020, the Public Hearing will not be open for public attendance. The Public Hearing and the subsequent Board Meeting will be live-streamed on the Village’s web site and on its Facebook page. The public is encouraged to send its comments on the local law to the Village’s email address (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) on or before or during the Public Hearing. Additionally, the public may also use the Chat function on the Village’s Facebook page or may text their comments to a number to be released during the Public Hearing.
